Frequently Asked Questions
Who is your favorite music group?
I love the Counting Crows, Blue October, Dave Matthews, Blink 182 and The Script
Who is your favorite author?
Lately I've been reading everything by Anne Rice. She is an amazing writer and researcher. I also like Gregory Maguire (Wicked), Margaret Mitchell (Gone with the Wind) and Rebecca Wells (Ya-Ya Sisterhood). I also like John Steinbeck. His book East of Eden was tragically moving and I read it once a year.
Who is your favorite actor?
Johnny Depp. I love Johnny Depp.
A couple of years ago I ran into Kelsey Grammar (from Frasier) who is my second favorite actor. He was incredibly nice to me, even after I told him I loved him. (I meant to say "I love your work", but it came out all wrong.)
What is your favorite TV show?
I don't watch a lot of TV, but when I do, I like to watch Glee, The Office, American Idol and Dog the Bounty Hunter.
Where is the most memorable place you've visited?
Oh, to pick just one? Can't do it. The Gardens at Versailles are at the top of the list. Seeing the teeny-tiny Mona Lisa and the larger-than-life Venus at the Louvre is pretty cool. The David in Florence is something I think about nearly every day. The Colosseum and adjacent Roman Forum were both incredibly amazing. Savannah, Georgia is historically charming, and my favorite place to visit in the United States, however Washington DC comes a close second.
If you could visit anywhere, where would it be?
I would love to go on an African Safari and visit the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt. I hope to do both in 2011. I would also like to hike the Inka Trail, but I'd have to take one of those "expensive tours" where they carry your stuff from camp to camp.
